Character Information
Character: Five:
Fandom: Generator Rex:
Source:http://generatorrex.wikia.com/wiki/Five
Character History:
Five spent years being trained by One to be a member of The Six, an elite group of the six most dangerous people in the world. By default of being the only female in the group, Five is to be considered the most dangerous woman in the world. Five is physically the smallest member of The Six, but what she lacks in physical size, she makes up for in speed and improvisation. She speaks with a British accent, possesses a punk fashion sense, and is rarely seen without her trademark weapon, a pink guitar.
She appeared in three episodes of the Cartoon Network series, Generator Rex: Divide By Six, A Family Holiday, and Six Minus Six. In her first appearance, she appears alongside her fellow members of the Six: Dos, Trey, and IV as they come to collect Six and Rex in an attempt to cure their mentor, One.
Five, like four other members, agrees to put their mentor out of his misery if Rex is unable to cure him, as she does not think their teacher deserves to spend the rest of his life in an isolated cage. Six, however, disagrees with them, thinking it would be unacceptable to kill his master. The group travels to the island where One lives in self imposed exile. She travels with the others to their mentor’s home inside a volcano. She stands up to Trey when Rex has difficulty, admonishing her “sibling” for his rudeness. However, she is quick to turn on Rex when his cure attempt fails. She, along with the others, back off when their leader passes on.
Five appeared briefly in A Family Holiday, where she provides Six with the information to find Dr. Holiday’s kidnapped sister, via a well placed knife throw. It is implied that she and Six meet regularly, since she comments that Dr. Holiday is “prettier” than Six lets on and she advises him “not to mess it up.” She then vanishes into the night.
Five made a last appearance in the series in Six Minus Six, where she and Trey were working on a job together until they are interrupted by a partially amnesiac Six and Rex. Five is initially cross, since Six knows no witnesses are allowed to witness contract work and she joins her “siblings” in trying to kill Rex. However, Six is moved by Rex’s words and he fends off both Trey and Five and they retreat into the darkness.
Other than Agent Six, Five is the only member of The Six to appear more than
twice.
Character Personality:
Five is very personable. She appears to be bubbly and cheerful, but can turn in an instant to be deadly serious and aggressive. Five is loyal to The Six, the group of elite mercenaries she is a member of. However, her relationships with the other five members appear to be somewhat rocky, in particular with Trey, the third ranked member of their group and Dos, the second most dangerous person in the world. The latter holds a grudge against her for her actions, or possible inactions during a previous mission. In fact, the only member of the Six she actually is shown to amicably partner with is Agent Six himself.
Five is short tempered and is unafraid to voice her displeasure or frustrations toward others. She is likely to lash out verbally and/or physically when something doesn’t go the way she would like it to. Due to her particular skill set, she doesn’t usually need to do much in order to ensure things go her way. Five is especially bothered by stupidity in words or action. Her already short fuse is made nonexistant by someone saying or doing something she deems idiotic. Within canon, this is usually perpetrated by Trey, a Cajun mercenary who ranks two slots above her in their group. While Trey himself is more dangerous than Five, the latter considers everyone in the group smarter than the third most dangerous man in the world.
Five appears to be on good terms with Six on numerous occasions. It is implied in A Family Holiday that they meet periodically to catch up, as she was able to recognize Rebecca Holiday from their conversations despite never meeting her in person, at least canonically. She is shown to help those she considers comrades. She is also willing to stand up for her allies, though her kindness does not seem to interfere with her professional work.
Five dislikes leaving witnesses to her contract work and is willing to kill those who catch her in action. She takes her work very seriously and will fulfill a contract to the best of her ability. In that sense, she is very devoted to her career.
Powers and Abitlities:
As a human in the world of Generator Rex, Five has no supernatural or nanite based powers. However, what she does have is years of training under her mentor, One. She is highly skilled in a wide array of combat skills. She exhibits mastery of close combat battle (Divide By Six), as well as long distance accurate knife throwing (A Family Holiday). She has peak strength for a female human. Due to her size and training, Five is also able to move very quickly, often undetected. She is also able to retreat quickly, sometimes even without a trace.
Five’s weapon of choice is a pink guitar which is functional as an instrument as well as a weapon. The guitar is highly durable, as Five has used it to bludgeon opponents as well as create seismic waves by banging it into the ground. However, the weapon is not invincible. It can be shattered if hit in a particular place, such as when Agent Six struck it with his sword.
Five is also gifted at gathering intelligence. Six specifically seeks her out
in A Family Holiday because she is regarded as “someone who knows things good people shouldn’t.” Through her assistance, Six and the others are able to determine the whereabouts of Dr. Holiday’s abducted EVO sister, Beverly. The only person she is ever shown sharing information with without a contract or a fee is Six, indicating that the two of them have a friendly alliance.

[The feed begins as Five looks up at the camera and gives her pink hair a toss.]
‘Ello there!
Any of you blokes or gals know where there is a good watering hole around these parts?
Or anyone out there interested in a jam session?
[She removes the pink guitar from her back and her fingers tap a few chords, though it is not terribly impressive without an amp.]
If anyone is interested, I’m also up for a spar if you feel like testing your abilities.
Feeling lucky out there, anyone?
[She smirks at the camera.]
I’m waiting.
I can promise a smashing good time.
[She plucks a few more strings before clearing her throat.]
So...has anyone out there in Nautilus seen a boy named Rex? You'd know him if you saw him. Tall, tan, dark hair, goggles...a real penchant for machines, that one.
We have unfinished business.
Third Person
Five sat at the base of the Hachiko statue and sighed, plucking away at the strings of her guitar. It sounded so limp and lifeless without an amp, just tiny tinks. did not matter, she supposed. When she became skilled enough, she could just Bend herself one. She had seen some Bending and it was a most impressive skill.
She was no stranger to learning new techniques. When she had trained under One with the others, she had to master multiple skills in record time. Five decided that Bending would be no different for her than any of the others. All it meant was a lot of studying and even more practice. Practice...the worst part of learning new things. Sometimes she felt she didn’t have the patience to learn one more thing, but she always managed to hunker down and focus when the time was right.
Five ran a hand through her mop of pink hair and began to focus on her intrument. She already knew how to do that. Carefully, she began to tighten her strings.
It could be worse. She could be alone. Lost, even. As it was, she was just displaced, that was all...and Six was there. There were worse people she could be marooned in an alternate reality with. It could be Dos...or worse, Trey.
There was suddenly a painful, loud twang as one of her strings snapped, curling up pathetically.
“Bloody hell!” Five cursed and spat to her left in annoyance.
Her hand moved up and down the broken string and she frowned. Now she would have to find another. Where in Nautilus could she find a guitar string. Someone could Bend one for her, but that would require them needing something in return and she had no skills in Bending just yet so she could not do it herself. Besides, Five wasn’t even sure that her particular set of skills was something to be bartered with here in Nautilus. Perhaps she would ask Six about it since he had been there significantly longer. Who knows? Perhaps he would even Bend her a string. She did know an awful lot of his secrets...and keeping them quiet was something she was all too happy to do for a minor fee. After all, a guitar string wasn’t much in the grand scheme of things compared to that.
Five smiled knowingly and stood up. She stretched before starting to whistle and, with a bounce in her step, set out to find her “brother.”

Five sat on the edge of her bed, miserable as a wet cat in a monsoon.
It wasn't fair.
It wasn't like she WANTED kids or anything.
None of the others had to deal with this...this...THING.
Words failed her. Five wasn't sure if she wanted to scream or cry or go beat up Tres with her guitar. Or all of the above.
Her cheeks were hot and her stomach was cramped and...and it felt like her insides were being scraped out with a rusted ice cream scoop.
Joy.
